THE FATHER'S HEART

Meeting bi-weekly in the heart of Kitchener on Tuesdays, we are a group of people who are longing to know the Lord in a deeper way. Our desire is to hear Him and to respond to whatever He may be saying. Our life group spends time in silence, listening, sharing, worship and ministry. All are welcome. Drop by when you feel the need for refreshing or come and stay longer.
We meet on alternate Tuesdays at 7:00 pm at the Gruber's.

HeARTS ON THE STREET

We are a team of people who reach out to the poor and homeless in downtown Kitchener to let them know they are loved and not forgotten on our outreaches we spend time sitting and listening to them getting to know them. We have regular outreaches every other Saturday afternoon from 1-3pm. Our vision is to reach out in a practical and spiritual way by building relationship, sharing the love of God, the truth of His word and to pray for their needs. They are also provided with a Gideon magazine with scripture and the Gospel of John. We have been going downtown for almost 3 years now and have built connections with a number of people whom we see on a regular basis.

 

In the summer we give out water and muffins or granola bars, we also have 3 larger events in the months of June, July and August which involve the arts and clothing give away. In the winter we hand out blankets, hats, mittens, scarves and Tim cards. At Christmas, we put together duffel bags filled with personal items, some goodies, a Gideon magazine filled with beautiful pictures and scripture and a homemade card with a Tim card in it letting them know they are loved. 

 

We are getting ready for the winter months for our friends downtown; donations of winter items are welcome. The items needed are hats, blankets, scarves, mittens, and socks. Please drop off your donations in the HeARTS on the Street box which will be placed at the front during our Sunday gatherings.

MEN'S GROUP

We meet every other week with the goal of strengthening our relationships with God and with each other. We believe that it is God’s desire for the men in our church to be all that they are designed to be. We are joined each week by men from Tavistock, Kitchener, Waterloo, Guelph and Cambridge. Over the past few years, we have studied a number of books that helped us to grow spiritually. We look forward to extending and expanding this ministry in the coming years. We welcome all men who desire to grow in community and in their relationship with Jesus.
