Laura Gerber - Lead Pastor
Congregational Vision and Teaching
As Lead Pastor, Laura oversees vision development and teaching at River of Life. She has a passion to see every person grasp the truth of the scriptures and to walk in all the gifts and call of God in their lives. When she's not working on a sermon or doing research for a new teaching series, she's likely in the garden or out for a hike enjoying God's creation.
Dwayne Ruby - Pastoral Care and Local Missions
Dwayne brings compassion and love for all those he meets to his role of overseeing pastoral care. He is also very active in local missions through HeArts on the Street, Ray of Hope, and other outreach ministries. A farmer of many years (including sheep!), Dwayne naturally serves as a shepherd in the church. He enjoys fishing in his spare time.
Rev. Denise Gruber - Leadership and Equipping
Denise's many years in church leadership contribute to the wisdom she brings to her role. Denise serves as a mentor and gifted teacher, bringing insight and practical strategies for life in Christ. Her focus is identifying and helping to grow God given talents and leadership skills in His people. This brings her great joy in seeing His Kingdom grow. Denise spends her free hours (and also competes!) on the golf course, and is especially thankful for and enjoys time with her husband Peter, family (now 10 grandkids) and their dog, Percy.
